Friends of Cedar Mesa

Friends of Cedar Mesa works to ensure that the public lands in San Juan County, with all their cultural and natural values, are respected and protected.

Washington Climber's Coalition

The WCC exists to make Washington a better place to climb through advocacy, stewardship, and education. We're climbers who believe we must work together and cooperate with land managers and other groups who have an interest in the places we climb or we risk losing access to these cherished areas.

Muir Valley Organization

The Muir Valley Organization is a volunteer-based organization that owns, operates, and maintains Muir Valley—approx. 360 acres with seven majestic cliffs of hard Corbin Sandstone—recognized as one of the Crown Jewels of Sport Climbing. The Muir Valley Organization manages the facilities, trails, and anchors and is one of the top Access Fund Chartered Climbing Organizations. Muir Valley


Crag Vermont is dedicated to preserving access and conservation of Vermont's climbing resources. Their work in purchasing and maintaining ice and rock destinations in the state has made an incredible impact on the quantity and quality of climbing venues. CRAG-VT

Illinois Climber's Association

The Illinois Climbers Association is a charitable organization representing the climbers of Illinois. We are dedicated to preserving climbing and bouldering access in Illinois through education, conservation, and cooperation. Illinois Climber's Association

Ohio Climbers Coalition

The OCC forms a grassroots network to increase climbers’ influence on local policy issues and works to extend climbing advocacy and stewardship. A key part of our mission is organizing volunteer events, allowing climbers to care for and give back to the lands they climb. Ohio Climbers Coalition

Central Appalachia Climber's Coalition

The CACC has recently expanded their coverage beyond SW Virgina to include climbing areas between the New River Gorge, Red River Gorge, and part of northern Tennessee. They recently secured purchase of the AVP Boulders in Grayson Highlands, VA. Quickly becoming the best bouldering in the state. CACC

Allied Climbers of San Diego

The Allied Climbers of San Diego (ACSD) is an environmentally responsible membership-based climbers’ advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and maintaining access to climbing and outdoor recreation.

Kismet Rock Foundation

Kismet Rock Foundation enrolls children from urban and rural areas across New England. They focus on nourishing physical and emotional development through the unique challenges and exhilaration only found in rock climbing.

Western Montana Climbers Coalition

The WMTCC was founded to support continued access to climbing areas, safe and environmentally conscientious development of new sites, climbing for climbers of all abilities, and continued development of opportunities for young climbers.

Arkansas Climbers Coalition

The Arkansas Climbers Coalition is a non-profit dedicated to preserving and protecting climbing areas in The Natural State. The ACC is committed to preserving our nation’s natural areas through our partnership with Leave No Trace.

USA Ice Climbing

USA Ice Climbing's purpose is to promote and develop competition ice climbing, mixed climbing, and drytooling in the United States. USA Ice Climbing also strives to support athletes in these climbing disciplines through training opportunities, information sharing, team building, sponsorship, and financial aid. USA Ice Climbing is a Minnesota 501(c)3.

Minnesota Climber's Association

The MCA is made up of members and volunteers dedicated to preserving Minnesota climbing. They manage the Sandstone Ice Park which is the only park of it's kind in the mid-west. They promote conservation and stewardship throughout the region and manage anchor replacement and assessment across the state. MCA

Southeastern Climbers Coalition

The Southeastern Climbers Coalition is dedicated to preserving climbing areas in the southeast. SCC members and volunteers are climbers from Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Arkansas and elsewhere who have joined forces to preserve access to climbing areas in the region.


Founded by Kevin Jorgensen and Dave Chancellor, 1Climb partners with Boys & Girls Clubs around the country to build climbing walls and share the joys and challenges of climbing with at-risk youth.

Wisconsin Climbers Association

The Wisconsin Climbers Association was formed to become a vocal advocate for the sport of climbing in the state of Wisconsin. The WCA is continually working to gain access to new climbing areas, maintain existing climbing areas, and improve the overall experience of climbing in Wisconsin.

Women's Wilderness

Women's Wilderness cultivates courage, confidence, connection, and environmental stewardship among girls, women, and the LGBTQ2+ community through outdoor immersions across the West. We aim to be a welcoming, safe place for people of all backgrounds and identities to explore the gifts of the wilderness.

Southeast New England Climbers Coalition

SNECC is a non-profit dedicated to preserving climbing areas throughout the southeastern New England region. This includes protecting, helping to maintain, and establishing access to these areas. SNECC was started in the spring of 2017, is an affiliate of the Access Fund, and also hosts the Lynn Woods Boulder Bash outside Boston.

Bighorn Climbers Coalition

The Bighorn Climbers’ Coalition is dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting access to climbing resources in the Bighorn Mountains, Basin, and Cody climbing areas in Wyoming.

New River Alliance of Climbers

NRAC exists to preserve and promote access to climbing areas, and to conserve climbing resources in the New River Gorge and surrounding areas.

The Access Fund is on a mission to protect climbing access and the integrity of America's outdoor climbing areas, through policy, land protection, stewardship, and more.

Carolina Climber's Coalition

The Carolina Climber's Coalition was established January 16, 1995 with the purposes of preserving the natural environment, promoting safe climbing practices and preserving climber's access to climbing areas in North and South Carolina.

Friends of Joshua Tree

Friends of Joshua Tree is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historical tradition of climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. Friends of Joshua Tree advocates, communicates, and encourages ethical and environmentally sound climbing practices.

Red River Gorge Climber's Coalition

Founded in 1996 the RRGCC is dedicated to securing and protecting open, public access to rock climbing in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky and promoting conservation of the environment on the lands where we climb.

Rumney Climber's Coalition

The Rumney Climbers Association is a small non-profit organization that began at time when Rumney needed to secure access to the cliffs in the early 90’s. It was spearheaded by local activists that worked hard to purchase land that was privately owned.

Gunk's Climber's Coalition

The Gunks Climbers’ Coalition is an advocacy group dedicated to creating and maintaining sustainable opportunities for responsible climbing along the Shawangunk Ridge and surrounding areas.

American Alpine Club

The AAC provides authoritative climbing information, knowledge and resources that benefit and inspire us and future generations. Advocacy and leadership advance our climbing interests and promote conservation. Community and competency strengthen and embolden us to push our limits.

Boulder Climbing Community

The Boulder Climbing Community is a non-profit organization that connects and supports climbers, climbing organizations, land managers, and businesses in the Boulder area, in order to protect and care for the climbing areas we love.
